R150F to R150?

Hello, I know this is probably against most of your religions, but I figured you guys would know....

Can the tailshaft housing from a R150 be put onto a R150F? Is that the only difference? We're pulling a 3vze from a totaled 92 4x4 and putting it into an 88 2wd. So will the transmission we have work? thanks.

you "might" have to swap the  output shaft  but besides that  yes  it should work fine
