Ive talked to the rangers up there while I had 4 burners on 2 stoves going on the tailgate of my truck.  They dont care about stoves what so ever. cook all you want

You can get the permits at any ranger station, including the head stations in P-ville and Auburn.  Just pick one up tommorow in Placerville FFC.

Damn Glad I read this.   I knew fires were restricted, but I never thought about my little Weber being restricted.  (which was what I was planning to bring.)

There are plenty of signs posted with little pictures of what you can and cannot do as far a fires, stoves, BB Q's. They have to have the pictures for all the illegals that claim they cannot read or speak English!!!!

It is funny as heck to see someone running through the woods with a hot charcoal BB Q in there hands when the LEO's show up. That is after they tell you to F-Off when you tell them it is illegal.  I wonder how much that ticket cost him besides burned hands!!!  :hammer: :ha_ha:

im not going this year but food is on top of my list everyday, and if you dont have a stove or anything pick up some MRE's and chow down on those
