Well I hate to do this...but times are tuff for me and I need to get rid of my baby. I picked up a mint condition fj80 and it is much better suited for Alaska (ie: full time 4wd..enclosed cab etc...)  Like a 4 runner on steroids.

What do you think shes worth???

SAS with Marlins kit 4" springs, rear Marlin 4" spring kit with bilsteins on all 4 corners, great flex.
35" toyo open countrys 95% tread and new spare
Black rock crawler steele rims 3.75 backspacing
Front Axle trussed, High pinion with ARB and Cromolly Birfs
Square front D shaft
Dual ultimate Marlin transfer cases with very little use
ARB rear 4 cyl
Both diffs 4.88's gears and diffs straight from Marlin (Rocky to be exact)
11,000 LB T-max winch with very little use....in cab winch controls
GPS system
In bed storage trunk that is lockable
Marlin sliders, rear Marin Bumper.
Dual optimal Blue tops Deep cycle/starting. (tons of amps!)
The sad part?  The body and frame are in exclellent condition. The truck has never been rock crawled!!! l(No big rocks in Alaska!)

So the truck and all of its componenets are in top condition, the motor has 195,000 however it runs great and is completely stock.

What do you guys think???  KBB says something around 4500 bucks but I know Im gonna take a loss and never make my money back in the aftermarket parts.

Hey there guywithuglyyota, not to hijack your thread or anything I was just saying    since I'm visiting your great state from the bay area, Ca. I realized you are in Wasilla, right? My wife and I are in Homer right now visiting till the end of next week. Dang, we went right through Wasilla on the train Sun. too and we'll be flying outa Anchorage a week from this Sat. Well, anyway, don't mind me. Hope you sell your rig for all it's worth. Good luck and sorry  to hear you have to get rid of her. Some lucky dude is gonna make out for sure! Have a good one.    (hijack off)  :outtahere:

Hey FOrdh8r!  Hope you guys had a good visit!  Sorry about all the stupid rain :(

The frame is essentialy rust free as this was an Arizona truck where Rust is outlawed. I even drove to AZ to get it since most the trucks in CA were pretty beat on. ANd you dont even want to see an Alaska toy..... some are taken care of, but most are severely neglected.

If I were to guess according to the pictures and spec list.

I'd say a good $6K  maybe a little more.. because people are going to try and low-ball you.

Thats around what I was thinkin Shamb. Always better to start high then lower the price drastically making the buyer thinking they are stealing it!

Parting it out might be an alternative but time is also money and I just need the coin...

I would say 6 to 7K. :twocents: Just find a new airman on base and tell him he NEEDS the 4X4 for the upcoming winter.

It's too bad you have to sell it. You spent a lot of time on the build up after the roll over in the original "Ugly Toy".  :sad2:

I know, well its more of a shame I simply don't wheel it like I should. The Land Cruiser has stock lockers, so thats a good start. Around here its more of expedition type wheeling anyway. I hate to part with it but business is business I suppose. And I do not need three frikkin vehicles!  haha

Thanks for all your input.

If it were my truck I would add it, put it out there for what you want for it, and sit on it until you get it. Obviously your going to take a loss. You never make your money back on these kind of builds. Good luck to you. I hope the land cruiser is what you really want. I would hate to let either of my toys go.
