Frank Raines Closed

GOOD!!!  Flame me all you want, but after seeing how some people abused the creekbed, I'm glad they're closing the creekbed... Put in an obsticle course like Hollister, at least that way it's somewhat controlled, and the cattle downstream don't have to drink oily water from trucks. My mom lives a mile away from Frank Raines, she's just lucky she's UP stream.

I see this as an improvement! They're IMPROVING the park, not closing the whole thing!

What "they" usually call an improvement often turns out to be a bull crap excuse to close an area and further limit my public land usage.  I really did not expect to see effects of the RDP at this level.

Good point.  IF they stick to their plans... then I agree... If they keep the place closed and use 'improving' as an excuse, I'll be right there with the rest of yah.  I'll talk to my mom and see what else she can find out.  She's always out there :crossed:

I'm off line for a month and this is the 5th post about closures in the past 2 hours Ive seen.   damn I missed a lot.
