War Eagle from the plains in Alabama.
« on: Apr 17, 2004, 07:23:14 PM »
   I know this topic probably makes no sense to anyone except southerners.  Anyway, I'm a married college student at Auburn University.  I drive an 82 Toyota SR5 with a brand new L52HD transmission built by Marlin Crawler.  I have to say that because it just about broke the bank.

Going to tellico next friday if you wanna come along.  Looks like it might be a decent sized ride.  5-8 trucks.

I'm saying chances are pretty slim I'll be able to make it. I have neither truck to pull nor trailer so out of town trips are hard for me to make. I'm tryin though, Tellico is awesome and this is the perfect time of year to be there.

LAL, if your son is at St. Vincents than he's in the best hands possible. I have heard of good riding in clanton but have never been, if it's out there I'll find it though. Once your son gets back on his feet hit me up and we'll show yall a good time C.A.O.S. style!

LAL, Best wishes to you and your son.  My mom and dad live in clanton, I'll see if I can get them to find out anything.

Bringing this topic back from the dead, your 1st gen is a SR5? Does it have a factory sun roof then? :dunno:

And I like the Turtle sticker on the tail gate. You just put it right over the "Toyota" lettering?

No sunroof.  The tailgaite and bed are from a 2wd.  I don't think it has any stamped lettering on the tailgate, so it might be a knockoff tailgate.
