Topic: No Brakes

alright well here is the story about 2 weeks ago i was driving on the freeway started to feel a wobble so i slowed down well herd a loud noise and had to slam on the brakes and lock em up and skid wasnt to much fun! well turned out i droped a link down causing the axle to shift and drop the driveline and torque so much so snap my welded rear diff! well it was about 3 miles from my shop so i disconnected the rear driveline and put her in 4 and ran about 20mph on the road in front and i had to push the pedal to the floor to get it to stop well after fixing the rear suspension and all that other good stuff i had to move it from one lift to another well still had no brakes so i bled them out and thought maybe the piston got stuck so i tapped on the master cyl with no luck! rebled the brakes retried still nothing, so i ordered up a new master cyl, well got that bench bled then put in and rebled the brakes again, well i still have no pedal it just falls to the floor like tere is nothing their! im stumped im lookin for input from you guys!

busted  diaphram in the brake booster


do  you here  a hissing sound  ?? vacuum leak?? in the cab

thats what i was thinking it could be to, nope no hissing sound i know that one jsut wrote up a mazda tribute for one of those haha, but im thinking about the booster now, checked the wheel cyl's those are good calipers are good jsut last thing would be booster or i got a bad master cyl which would suck!

if it was a kragens brand or similar master cylinder i wouldnt trust it... when i worked in the repair industry, half of them were crap right out of the box

ya it was a napa one, i would have gone with a toyota one if it was about 200 my cost. im working on it today adn see what i cna find out on it and see if i can get it home atleast
