When should I change a solid axle spindle

I have pulled apart my from axle to chance the wheel and knuckle bearings. Both sides had the wheel bearing turning on the spindle and both have a pretty good step on the bottom side of the spindle. I would like to see a price on the spindle but all of the online searches I have done turn up places that don't list a spindle or show the parts for an independent set up even though I'm searching under the year 1984?    So yea anyone know an online source for this. Marlin doesn't list a spindle replacement that I could see.

Found a dealer that has parts open on Sunday and they quoted 225.56 EA 
Now the question is do I really need to change the spindles?

Front Range has good used spindles for $30 ea.

Thanks for the web site. BTW the site is FrontRangeOffroadfab.com Took me a little bite to figure that out.
The picture they had of the used part looks like mine does and they showed it from the top that never shows any wear. I attached some pics of mine shot from the under side. I'm thinking I will use them.
Finaly got some photro editing software installed on this new system.

I have seen many spindles that look like that even from the factory setups. The bearings had 150,000 on them or so running 33x9.50 tires for most of it. Telling me they were tight or they aren't supposed to look like that does not help me at all. I'm sure they weren't to tight or they wouldn't have lasted as long as they did and I know they shouldn't look like that its the whole reason I started this thread. The bearings were very old and show it. The inner races were turning on the axle which is why the keyed ring has a groove in it and the back lip is worn. My concern is are they still good. The wear is .0015" where the bearing rides and the rear isn't as chewed up as I've seen other ones. The dark area is from corrosion not burning. I have put maybe 3,000 miles on the truck in the last 2 years so it has been mostly sitting.
