RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

An awesome start to being a fulltime firefighter, one of the hardest professions to get a foot through the door.

bates?  i went through an academy through merced college. it was so much fun. very time consuming, but thats part ofthe job.

im working towards being a firefighter, im ready to go into the academy, but there are issues with my emt class that are not resolved yet, so that is preventing me from progressing, i have all my pre-req fire science classes done already

volunteer for a local dept, even if its helping them wash a truck or something, it will get you to meet people and those names will look good on a resume, it also shows you are dedicated to community service, and thats what firefighting is all about, 87% of all fire calls in metropolitan areas are medical calls

ya i know. i dont have my emt yet im taking a class through thecollege to get my emt soi can get college credit as well. im starting the process of volunterring at one of ourlocal fire stations, i have most fire science classes done except for two. i just graduated from my fire academy and im a fire fighter reserve. i cant wait to start work the4th of july. and ya your right the more i am dedicated to the department it will then be seen by the on staff department they can then be references for job apps for seasonal and career.

87%? i think ours is more like in the 90's.
