hey guys. just wondering if anyone on the board lives near
hot springs. i won a free day pass to superlift off road park
and would like to go try out the place.
also are there any more places nearby for trail riding?
the wife & i are gonna take a trip in late sept-early oct.
gonna take two weeks off and would like to run several
different areas.

im about 45 miles  from the park,  and yes  lots of other places  to  go  within  30-60 minutes  from the park also

yes  they have hookups  for  even LARGE  RV's

i think  4  50 amps  and the  other  7 or 8  are  30 amp

The Superlift park is a great place to wheel,BJ is the guy that runs the park and he's really cool.Glen be about the best tour guide for you,awesome guy.I ran a few of the trails while I was there,Rattle Snake?was one of my faves and Bonus hill was fun too,specially the right side  :yesnod:

I too am about 45 minutes from the park, and so is a friend of mine. We like to go to Superlift every couple of months or so.

As far as other places, there 2 or 3 around Hot Springs. Glen or I could show you around the Ross Foundation in Bismarck, and there's the Ouachita Highlines north of HSV.

And for hookups, there's a KOA nearby, and the HS National Park has Gulpha Gorge nearby as well. Plenty of options there.

A September run would be good. That gives me plenty of time to get my soon to be 82-79 hybrid running again  :crossed:

ok, i looked  at the parks calendar  and  the last week of september  is a Bronco  event  and the 1st weekend in october  is a  jeep thing

so how about the  22-23 of  september  weekend

Dawg  if  you are here for a week  hopefully  we can do some Ross foundation,  the  offroad  park that weekend,  and maybe  try something  up  at the Ouachita  NF   :woohoo:

Is this the weekend directly after MCR?
If so I maybe out...
Hmmm...too much wheelin, so little time...
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

its gonna be close for me. last trip out my crank thrust bearings
failed on me. got the engine out and tore down. gotta have a
replacement block and crank. i'v got another shortblock ready
to go to the machine shop. so i'v got a full plate of stuff to get
done before i can think about this trip.
