Finally went out and got a new truck. CrewMax 5.7 4x4 SR5.
Future mods. Long travel suspension, Swayaways shocks, wheels & tires, Prerunner bumpers F&R.

I recently picked up a Durango, towrig/moderate wheeler. My Camry's trans was going so I had to get something and I decided that if I couldn't find a 4x4 I'd just get a tow vehicle, well I found a little of both. It has the 5.9 Liter so now I just need to find a decent hardcore/moderate rig.

Cool, that 5.9 is fast. Those are cool rigs, I used to know someone who have one of those. If you get a new trail rig, let me know. I will probably be out in Phx. a lot this winter.

My club is starting to set up a Florence run for my benefit for this fall/winter too, let me know when you guys come out. I'm planning on lifting and putting atleast a locker in the Durango until I find the right rig.

Thanks, I love it so far. Haven't had it long enough to find anything that I don't like yet.

I'm leaving again on Weds. Headed to Colorado for the next couple of months. I'm going to try and make it back if I can, so I can get the long travel & swayaways put on, and take it to get measured for the prerunner bumpers.

Look for a buildup in www.4WDToyotaOwner.com magazine. I'm getting help & or parts from Northridge Toyota, SwayAway, Total Chaos, Bassani exhaust, 35" tires & wheels. I also talked to Wyatt (AWSUMDC) from Demello offroad about getting some Prerunner bumpers made.

Thanks. All I have heard from my sources about the Diesel are rumors. Even if I did know, unfortunatly, I don't think work would let me say.

Yeah I keep seeing an almost underlying marketing theme...all the Caterpillar yellow ads, Tundras Towing CAT equipment etc.... who knows.....

Yeah still In AK, at the moment im in Cal visiting family and freinds, started down in fullerton, made my way up to sactown, then im off to Oregon to Visit my sister. Looong tour but I cnt say I miss work haha. This really sucks though being so close to the Rubicon and rocks in general and not having my truck
