"PETERBOROUGH, Ontario - A judge has ruled that a 24-year-old Canadian man is not allowed to have a girlfriend for the next three years."

I bet he renews his subscription to Hustler.

Sounds like a good ruling for the women of Canada.....who wants a girlfriend or boyfriend that stabs themselves when a break up occurs?

I highly doubt this guy, out of the blue one day, decided to lose it and go insane. Maybe that ex-girlfriend of his should have chosen I little more wisely; though that's not to say she deserved what she got. I think that ruling is overstepping the bounds of government, but at the same time the only other option I see is a straight jacket. Unfortunately, you can't make someone take the drugs they need, which is really the best option for this guy becoming a little more in controll of his emotions.  :twocents:

I'm curious how they are gonna enforce this... :dunno:

That's what I found odd about this.

I'm sure the guy was put on probation and his probation officer will look in on him to see he is following the conditions that the judge laid down... It's not all that uncommon in DUI cases for the judge to make "no liquor consumption" a condition of the court and that's not easily enforceable either. :dunno:
