well yesterday i was working on a car with a complaint of bubbles in the dash! well per mazda general rep for western wash we are going to replace the whole dash! well againt all complaints i had to do this job i was froced to by the owner of the dealership to do it because i take the most pride so i guess that a good thing! so since i really dont wanna do this and its alot of work and i will be taking alot of breaks i figured i would do a short little thread! ahah well i forgot to take a pic when i started didnt think about it until now so here is where i sit now got the new dash sitting next to the car and got the seats out and center console out! this is a new 2007 mazda 6 with 8000 miles on it! so it will be very time consuming!  door pannels came off on both sides to help prevent from scratching when removing dash and seats, first is of the new dash peice and second is where i sit now! i will take pics as i go only ahve my camera phone so low quality pics sorry! photobucket is used sorry to those who cant see this at work i tried without using photobucket and it didnt work!

Stinkin new cars!  I remember changing the dash in what seems like a couple hours in my first gen, but that's a whole different aminal :gap:  I went to visit friends at a local shop that works on vw, audi, rover and bmw doing warranty work and seeing my friend tearing the dash out of a newer bug.  Can't remember what he was doing but I know he was irritated cause it was a simple little fix that could not be done without removing the dash!

Good luck, hope you don't forget something while re-installing and hafta pull it all back out again :haha:
