I'll continue to "borrow" shackles from work!  I've used a :headscratch: 25 ton hydraulic winch pulling 12 ton anchors off the bottom of the lake when they're half submerged in mud and never seen once mis-shape.

yeah i got my shackles from my dads work with the power company. they are all 1 inch shackles.
