The easiest way I think to mount one there is if you have a cage.

look into a place that sells police stuff... they have units that allow mounting in places like that

Not sure in a 94, but in the 1st gen, if you have a small enough  CB unit, you can mount it inside the glovebox, and have the front stick out so you can read the channel. I havn't done it personally, but saw a buddy who did it, and it looked very cool, and it was out of the way.

I mounted mine under the glovebox.  I was affraid if I mounted up on the roof like I wanted I would split my forehead wide f'in open.  I tend to flop and flip so I didnt want any reasons to make my self any uglier.
I know, its a monster of a CB but my wife got it for me for a Christmas prez. and I didnt have the heart to take it back and get the little one.  :_oops:
85 Runner, 5" All-Pro Extreme Lift, Complete Marlin T-Case with new TS 4.7 gears, Super Birfields(Longfields), 5:29's, Detroited front, Spooled rear, 36" TSL's, Bikini top.

Yes, Livin in Kansas sucks azz!!

if i didn't always have people in my passenger seat i would be interested in putting on the glove box but i guess when i get one, i'll put it in between the shifter and the seat of my 84. or the glove box and make people suffer.
lets not and say we did.

How big is you C.B.? Can you mount it below your radio. I had a 90 Toy years ago & I had to cut the dash to make an after make radio fit. Then I used 1/4" plexi-glass & mounted the radio to the plexi then bolted the plexi to the dash with small allen head screws like you would find in an r/c car. It came out great. Sorry but I don't have any pic's of theat set up  but here's is here's a pic of my 87. If you C.B. is wider than mine & the mic comes out the side like mine, you could drill a hole in the side of the dash & run the mic cord through it  :twocents:

Flat piece of aluminum, bent to contour of roof, covered with gray carpet and finished oak for spacer. Held in place with the same screws the hold the mirror on. Wiring run through hole I cut in trim cap for mirror, inside the headliner, down the "A" pillar.

Between the plate and the CB mount, you can see it in the picture.
