Heres a quick run down of my trac bar build.

Main tube is 2" OD - 3/16" wall

Inner Tube is 1 5/8" OD - 3/16" wall

I used all urethane bushings and 3/4" bolts.

2 grease zirks...  and a little TLC...

Cut 3/8" plate to fit into my existing gas tank crossmember.  Then ran a triangulated brase back to the frame.

I cut 1/4" plate to make the brackets on the axle..

Over all I'm real happy with how it turned out.  Not to mention it works great, with no loss of articulation what so ever..

Did you only make that trac bar to combat axle wrap?? does it help with body roll on the street at all?

Its a trailer queen so im not sure if it really helps with any body roll.. I was getting horrible axle wrap.  I bent 2 sets of rear springs cause of axle wrap..  i think this will cure that problem.

Ah yeah I was just wondering. I forgot it was a trailer rig. yeah it should help that for sure I am just trying to get feedback from people that have them. I get body roll on the freeway sometimes in high winds just wondering if it might help a little.

Nope I cut the stocker off after I lifted it more. Most people just tell me to suck it up cuz they limit flex but I am curious if it actually works for body roll. Its only an issue 5% of the time but it is annoying when it happens.

Im sure you've heard of the rock ready sway bar by Currie.. My buddy has one on his jeep.  If I still drove mine everyday I'd be getting one.. That thing is awsome!!  Maybe look into that if its a big issue.

After a couple 12 hour days of busting my ass... A little progress.. It dosent look like much progress in the pics but trust me theres alot there.. Cut the new grill down, (just needs a little body filler and paint)  built battery box, ran all the wires, painted everything... the list goes on...

Not to mention pulled the tranny and transfer case... installed new clutch.. and Bud Built Clocking kit!!    Very nice I might add...

Before....

AFTER...

Not to shabby, and very easy to do...

Still to do... Put tranny/TC back in,  build X-member,  Cut hood down and install hood pins.  Mount Radiator in rear and run all lines... Build new sliders...  and yes do a little bodywork..  Ummmmm???? Then beat the :pokinit: outa IT!!!   oh and flat belly skid.....   :driving:
