I have a newer? style P/S pump with a fitting with two vacuum lines(variable assist I think). I don't need the lines. Do I pull the "vacuum pod" off the pump and plug it? or just leave the line disconnected? or what ??? I want to be sure to get as much flow and pressure as possible, it's running my full hydro steering
Thanks, Phil

Most people leave the lines wide open, since the valve is only used on a efi truck when the wheels are pegged [very high p/s pressure]. It works by letting vacume from the intake mainafold flow thur the valve and connect to the front side of the throttle body which causes a vacume leak and the motor them speeds up. This prevens a shot of unburned fuel that could damage the catalitic converter.

Nothing will happen if you leave the lines wide open

I beleive that Toyota sells a plug-i will check monday
