I am looking to get into one of these kits for my 2500 series diesel dodge (97)

Just looking for feedback, they do cost a bunch

Thought about it but that's a lot of coin. Actually I thought about swapping in a 60 from a 1st gen Dodge for my '97. I figured it'd be cheaper.

those are to get rid of the unit bearings correct? like on the superdutys? I have seen a couple setups on the superdutys and they are worth every penny

yeah it was bank but IMO worth it. I believe the ford unit bearings where selling for about 300bucks each at ford. they didn't like anything above a 35" tire either.

Yeah same with the Dodge, start getting into 33s or 35s and they tend to go a bit quicker. My truck has been on 33s the majority of it's life and now has just shy of 200k on the clock and is just now needing bearing replacement. Not bad bearing life but again I don't intend to go to a taller tire.
