Yea, let's plan a trip together and I will sport the beers :beerchug:  Are you going to "Chase the Moon"? :driving:  I guess the truck is a long story... what I know is that he(his name is Aaron too :screwy:) has had it for five years and has been gathering parts.  I will post a build when I get it and have more info/specs on it. What I know so far is:

Trailmaster leaf springs
31" Tires
4.3 from a 98 Astro Van w/70,000 mi. wiring harness,comp.
a tranny do not know what it is? :dunno:
1 82 transfer case
Some Advanced Adapter items (do not know what?) :yesnod:
That's I all I know for now.

I guess what comes around goes around.  Last week I found an 85 Runner in O.C. for $1000. OBO. Drove down to San Juan Cap. to buy it.  The girl (i should say female dog) pulls in gets out and I ask her if she has a ride because I would like to buy it.  I show her $1000. that I am willling to pay, she tells me she has someone else coming too.  I told her on the phone that I was going to buy it, she thinks that OBO means that she can get a couple of people there to give her the Best Offer?
I told her I would have paid more than the other guy but its not a damn auction and to stick it up her @#%***.  I was fired up!!!
But, now look what fell in my lap!!!!  Just picked it up yesterday and got home late I will post some pics shortly.

Would have liked to have been at the movies.  But, not last night.

Plan on the Runner is for a DD.  First I need to deal with all the DMV stuff its an out of state title.  Then right to work on it!

You working on your truck tomorrow?  I will give you a call...

I can't belive it either.  The guy was pretty bummed out when he watched me drive away.  He had it for five years and never got to do anything with it.  So his wife told him to get rid of it!   :spankbutt:

that really was a good find.  Hopefully you get all the DMV stuff squared away.  I will just have to keep my eyes out for something even close to this.  Good luck, and keep us posted.

Hey Aaron, I wish I would have seen that before I picked up the motor from you. lol.  hey, I might need your help a bit to get my truck running again with the 22r before I put the RE in there.  I need to get the smog done with the R.  I'll pm you later this week with a few questions.  Thanks again for the motor.
