On the Pirate board. a guy from Australia posted this up

I live in Australia and will be in the US for a month around this time and was wondering how far is the Hammers from Orange County CA as we will be based there around that time.
I would love to see the HAMMERS as I here it is a good spot to wheel.
We are also going to Cortez for the XRRA on the 4th of August is this just a one day event or do they run over the week end.

Garth

What do you guys think about hooking him with a seat in someones truck out there.  :beerchug:

I would be cutting those cruiser tires up, let them flex a little better on the pick up.

When I get home we can go over to Jerry's and see how much he would charge for a cage. Might be cheaper than ordering one  :dunno: We can see

I'll send him a PM and see what he says  :beerchug:

Bunch o' frickin' lunatics. Who the hell in his right mind would want to spend an entire evening, in the barren, desolate, craggy landscape of Johnson Valley, miles from civilization? Driving some home-built piece of junk over huge boulders, that could bend steering components, break axles and reach out and crush the vehicle like a beer can.

You have to consume massive quantities of energy drinks to fight the natural urge to sleep. You will probably have to make trail repairs or assist or wait while one is being done, out in the middle of nowhere.

All night! From sunset to sunrise on the trail, illuminated by the glimmer of the full moon. Peaceful, cool and quiet. The challenge of the trail calls.
The moon beckons. Oh my god, I'm a lunatic!

See you out there.   :gap:
