I'm dying to know exactly what y'all are doing right now  :rivers: ,I didn't end up going cause I've been taking off every weekend for the past month or so and I'll be gone for 5 days next week to go to Farmington and this was my wife's weekend off so I figured I'd be a good husband and spend it with her.We went to the Tattoo Expo and partied and we were gonna head down to Baja but my cousin flaked last minute,so here I sit still a little drunk hoping to see some pics or here back from you guys  :beerchug: .Hope there was no major breakage and I can't wait to hear how it went,if everyone that said they were going went, there was about 30 rigs out there.C'mon guys POST UP,LETS SEE SOME PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.  :beerchug:
We had a good time. No action shots for me, but I did snap a few on the lakebed.
Zukizzy led the run up lower Big Johnson(10 to 12 rigs). He had some electrical problems and also lost a fuel pump. He was also testing a new suspension mod. This picture shows his comp rig in the "up" position.

My friend Brent took the Runner on it's second voyage. He busted a rear Poly Performance axle on upper Big Johnson. :sad2:
I think 37" Krawlers and a lot of weight (exo & third seat etc) aided in the carnage.

I luckily didn't have any issues.  :crossed: I did notice a huge difference in the weight reduction in my rig. The only thing that I need to do for now (besides finish the exo) is up my tire size. I was driving for that rear dif, but the 35s (aired down) had some trouble keeping up. :(

So after the carnage, we were off the trail by 12:30. We watched the group head up for a second run on Jack/Sledge/Wrecking (not sure in the dark :dunno:) but is was a pretty cool sight. I looked like a ski resort in July with all of the lights on the trail.
Props again to Chase for setting this years run up. It was great to see him back from Afghanistan. :usa:

I know that there were some others taking pics on the run (a 2 gen Runner with the top cut off  :headscratch:). That Runner broke a stock birf and needed a lot of help. :driving:

Jeff is the name in the Orange Runner.  :yesnod: He did a little flop about half way up that elicited quite a few photos.  :snapshot:

This one?.
That's it. Where did you find the picture? I was behind him and Brent was tugging him along in the tough spots with a strap. :king: I had a spare short side stock birf that I offered, but he went back to the lake bed at the end of lower Big Johnson.

Yeah had to bail early. Leading a night run with no lights can be a bit of a pain. When the first fuel pump fried and I was on the spare I decided I did not want to finish the night on the end of a strap. Sorry to split I was just done and a bit pissed at the car when we got it to the truck. I am starting to understand the Jeep thing . Had a good time though and the new top not so secret parts held up really well. Look for them on Team Slow Speeds rig at the nationals.

Had a good time got there late due to party but still made it. The  :pimp: AAA van got me there and brought parts for benrsnitchal to bad he need other stuff as well! headed out to Jack north bout 10:30pm and had a few breaks along the way...sammi with a blown motor(sorry j that sucked blowing up a new motor!) broken short shaft, My dead battery ( thanks Teag, hit me up and I'll get the spare back to ya!) broken motor mount (Bumble BEE) and i am sure a few other things! took a while to get some rigs turned around that broke and by the time we did the group that ran upper and lower Big Johnson caught up to us. All and all it was a good night. Made it back to camp just after sun up! got home and had to go clean up after mom and dads party finally got to bed around 7 or 8 pm!  LOOOOOOOng day. Thanks to everyone who came out we had a blast!

I unloaded at the lake bed, planning to stay with Chase's crew repairing the Runner with the melted bearings, then decided at the last minute to head out with Troy's group to run Lower Big Johnson.   :hammerhead:

What was supposed to be a two hour run, stretched into an all night run! After running Lower, we continued on to Upper, which I just couldn't resist running, and then heading back to the lake bed, saw another group heading for Jack North. Drawn like iron to a magnet, I followed and ran with 'em. Back to the lake bed a little after dawn.

NO write-ups with pics for this trip since I THOUGHT I was just going out for a two hour run! I left my camera and bag of food at the tow rig. :hammer: Luckily I had my cooler with the Red Bulls already strapped in the back of TII.

We had great weather, met new people, saw some innovative rigs and even enjoyed some fireworks at the end of the night.  :shhh:

Chase has been the driving force behind these full moon runs at Johnson Valley, and I want to thank him here for starting something. I was awake for 27 hours and driving for 18 of those. I wouldn't miss it!
