Nope, those are London Broil that have been cut down, and marinated all day.  My Safeway store is always selling london broil cheaper than any other of the steaks!  Why should I pay more for bone, fat, and meat!  London Broil, just pure beef!!  I just bought four of them, the smallest was 3.2 pounds, and only paid like $14.00 for all of them!  The largest was 5.4 pounds!  At like $1.99 a pound that's cheaper than $3.29 a pound for t-bone!

I want to get a true BBQ that has the heat box to the side, so I can be lazy and stoke up the fire and slow roast all day long, while drinking beer of course!!

I was just reading the latest FOUR WHEELER and they had a mini review of a new propane grill from coleman I believe it was, and its actually really compact and folds up nicely. I might just snag that for breakfast and use the grill for dinner, i think i can squeeze that sucker in with all the rest of my junk.

I prefer charcoal, but I have to admit, if I owned a gas grill I would use it more than I use my charcoal grill.
That's the thing, charcoal is just too much trouble and you usually waste a lot, for daily use. We had a natural gas grill for about the whole time we owned the house, till we had to move the motorhome further back into the yard.
I used it constantly, I could use it for grilling or baking, and it was just a matter of turning a knob and lighting it up.
Like Bubba said, when I'm ready to cook, I'm ready to cook, I don't want all that muss and fuss.
I'm using a small propane camping grill now but may have to get something bigger for the house.

I've had the luxury of Brainiacs yard bird cooked over some good ole red oak. It's quite delectable if I might add  :yumyum: :wag: :beerchug:
being from the south,  oak   is  so available  it aint even funny,  but i like a  good oak chunk to get some  good  red  coals  burning,  but after  my  meat  is  put on  i like  to lay  some green hickory bark  on the coals,  it  makes  some of the  best smoke  you ever  seen  and  the taste it puts in the meat   i swear  you could  smoke  a  roadkill with that and it would taste good  :yesnod:

Glenn, thats the BBQ I want!  Most of them are $$$$$$, but I saw an ad for Home depot that has some for $150, too bad all my spare $ is destined for the truck!  Around here we use viney maple, alder, and some either cherry or apple wood to smoke with!

That is indeed great, when you have the time, but when I get home from work and want to throw something on the grill real quick I don't have time for all that. That would be a special occastion. Give me propane/natural gas, quick and easy.

I had a nice smoker we used to take with us camping. That was fun, but it's a lot of work.

That's why you use wood and charcoal...to impart a pleasant flavor.
