Yeah...its pretty strange...when I first got here, there weren't any girls that looked that good (from San Antonio originally)...but since then...WOW.  I have to look twice sometimes just to make sure I really saw what I just saw....and in Alpine!  I have never really spent much time in Midland, but a buddy of mine says (and agrees with you) that the people aren't really that nice.

ya i was surprised when i got to Alpine. i've gotten so used to the people in midland being snobby, racist, and rude over the past nearly 4 years. then i get to Alpine and everybody waves, is polite and courteous, and the people around my age act that way as well. plus you have some nice scenery and looks like lots of places to wheel out there. midland has, drunk drivers, oil, cattle, rich snobs from oil/cattle, and did i mention oil?
