I posted car up forsale for $200.  i got an email from a person  (Sara coller) wanting to buy my car and she will send me a cashier check for $5500 .  well you know how the rest  go . i told her to go cash  the cashier check and give me $200 when she come to pick up the car .  now she email me back and got a great idea of bank transfer and want my bank account info...i wrote back and told her i don't have an account and only deal with cash and this is too much trouble togo thru for $200 .we'll see what she have to say tomorrow. do these people think we re stupid or something? haveany of these people been caught .i know they are outside of US...BTW  i already sold the car

Some people fall into this scam & get ripped off & that sux's.

  I've done the same thing. I just fun to play with these people. String them along as much as you can & keep us posted

Your best bet is to just delete these emails and not reply.  It's too easy for them to ad your email address to spam/scam lists.  You could go to 419eater.com, do some research and find out how to properly screw with them though

this happened  to me  a  few years ago,  i was instructed  by the  District attorney  to  recieve the money order  and get the info  for the return of the money then bring that info to him, 

but  you  then have to worry  that the  boneheads   have your address 
but thats the only way they can be  caught

From what I read in the emails I don't think you have to worry, they don't speak engrish as a 1st language, the whole intent is to get your banking info you'd never have had anyone show at your door to pick up the car. They are in some other country.

Really??  I signed up with them some time ago and never got charged, never got asked for money.  Wierd
