I am absolutely down with wheeling it this Saturday. . . . I'm not sure if I can make it by 10:30-11am but I will try. Check your pm for my cell number. Give me a call and keep me posted on the meeting place/time . . . . I'm totally new to that area so I'll need some tips on how to find the trail head. . . .

Hi there from Exeter. I am a member of 4x4him.com and saw the post by revivalist. My husband and I are interested in meeting up with you guys on Sat as well. Is that cool. We try to get in on as many runs as possible when we know that there are others to wheel with. I will write more about myself in the introduction area.

Davem

Chepo is open for sure, there is a group going in on Sat. around 9:00 a.m. , So I may go with them and meet up with you guys at 10:30
Need to shake down the Ramilac, just got it back together today.
Also, there is another trail called Mc Cloud flat, it's up Beasore Rd. about 3 miles on the right ? Never been to either and I live here. :blah:

Hey guys . . . My wife isn't so thrilled about me leaving the BBQ to run the trail. I'm trying to see if she's willing to go with me early to run with the 9am group, but so far it doesn't look like it will happen. . . . If I don't make it, have a good time guys! :)

Edit: Ok, it looks like we're on for 9am! . . . I'm totally looking forward to it.

Hey BigBs84, do you and your friends want to meet us at 9am?

Sorry guys . . . Forgot to update. . .

The trail was great, with lots of options as far as difficulty goes . . .

Here's a pic of probably one of the most challenging obstacles on that trail. (That's a friend attempting it.) . . .

I took my wife and baby out wheelin for the first time so I couldn't take the hardest lines. I figured it would be best to make the trip as pleasant as possible for the family. . . . My wife was pretty freaked out as it was. . . My baby loved it . . .

Here's a vid I threw together highlighting most of the day. . . .

So 9 years later....

I moved up here from fresno and have been looking for wheeling spots. I know where cheepo is but theres a sign that says no vehicles. Anywhere else to go around here that actually requires the use of 4 wheel drive?

madhunt

Cheepo if you seen sign then you went past trail.  Mcloud flat, shuteye lookout, cattle and green mnt, hites cove. These are just a few
