how is the base timing? what about a tune up? 1200 is too high... however i wonder if any of that might have to do with a cold start injector type issue, where the engine speeds up to warm up faster?

Base timing is set ot 5btdc per FSM with connector shorted
all ignition componants are new and have less then 1000 miles on them (plugs, cap rotor ect)
A leaking cold start injector might cause a rich condition, but not those codes.
Warm up compensator seems to be ok.

no i meant base timing..... make sure the crank and cam are @ 0* sometimes a skipped tooth is enough to throw off all sorts of stuff..... as far as the codes, im not sure how the old stuff worked, have you verified the lines for any breaks? a friend of mine had a maf problem, and went through 3 mafs, finally a toyota specialist found that somehow some of the maf wires got kinked and threw codes....
