since moving to portland it has been made very clear to me that i dont want to drive the runner 12 hours each way. to many potential issues with breakage, reliability, ect.

what i am looking for is someone to trailer it down and back up.

i am willing to split fuel, beer, give you a hug, whatever :smooch:

Gotrocks said "maybe" but i would like to get a for sure before i mail my papers in.

if i cant get a tow tehn im probably not going to go, too many potential bad things with my luck

if you have an extra space on a trailer, or other ideas, please PM me or call me

thanks everyone-crawlerdan

Dan if no one can take you, Shoot it is going to be hard to just get our rigs to the trail. Have you ever checked the prices on a car hauler co. like the ones they use for classic cars.  I have seen them go up and down hwy 5 with a bunch of classic cars on them.  Or you could find someone with a tow rig down there and go in halfs on renting a dual car hauler for both of your rigs.  :dunno:   Just an idea wish I could help more!

you could always drive it down, and then use one of the car hauler people to bring it back up if you break :dunno:

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike
