93 rear axle E-BRAKE question.
« on: Apr 26, 2007, 10:47:29 PM »
Ok so i'm getting close to getting my runner done and i'm left with a few questions on what to do.  The 93 4runner axle i got has these extremely long e-brake cables. I plan on running all-pros transfer brake but don't know what to do about these long ass cables.  Cut them off?? Unbolt them from inside the drum and plug the hole???  Any suggestions guys??

I would remove them from the inside of the drum and block off the hole so water and debris can't get in as easy.

yeah, same here

You don't need loose stuff hanging around under the truck, and you really don't want to have to deal with gunking up the inside of the drums :nope:
