this is the igniter assmbly with integrated coil

they cost about $300 new......

i have heard that you can make a stand alone unit from a chevy for under $30..... i am considering this as a backup unit, as i had my original ignitor fail on me... no warning, the truck jsut dies

OOPS!  I swapped out the coil/ignitor for the one I found in a junkyard truckbed and BANG!  she runs like a raped ape.  best thing is it cost me nothing LOL.

thanks for the help.  now the power steering box can get rebuilt and all the rest of my to do's can move up the list.

BIG THANKS to paulyota85 for shipping me one w/o payment just to get me back on the trails.  It is people like him that make the forums such a great place to be.  thanks again man... as soon as it gets here I will mail it back to you with the shipping fees.  thank you again.  :beerchug:
