Another project (90) toy
« on: Apr 17, 2007, 01:04:09 PM »
Well I picked up another toy project while I was in the middle of the x-cab project and I'm finally gettin to work on it

This is how it started

I'm replacing the cab with the one I pulled off the truck that is now an x-cab.

So far the cab is removed and its ready to go on the frame rack

The guy that owned it loved mud. Personally I've had enough mud for a long time.

It shure would suck to work under that thing. My eves are hurting just thinking about it. I always try to take the vehicles I work on to the carwash before I get started.

The one where you get out and point the wand thing under the vehicle. I have even gone as far as borrowing a friends pressure washer and laying on my creeper to spray one down. I got wet and nasty but after a change of clothes and a little drying time,  I wasn't digging through an inch of oily mud to find the bolt heads.

I usually park over a sprinkler over night but I bought it rolled and missing the head so no water till I get the motor back together.  No SAS on this one its gonna be a DD for a buddy.  I just picked it up cause it was $400 and I have the cab and a extra motor from a celica.
