Sky Mfg. Dual shock hoops
« on: Apr 07, 2007, 01:22:24 PM »
I just received the second shipment of shock hoops from Sky Manufacturing, missing the hardware to install the dual shock hoops, lower hardware.
Has anyone installed these on 85 4Runner solid axle and if so do have any pics?  :snapshot:  Or any idea of the installation in conjunction with the 'Marlin' solid axle 'Birfield' reinforcing kit?  :dunno:
Wow, been looking at my 4Runner rust away too long, need some inspiration and here I will find it...!

85 Toyota 4Runner, solid axle, 22Re, original paint and graphics and not a straight panel to be found!

From what the description read is that it splits the lower mount. The shocks are going to mount to the outside of the lower shock brackets. Put a spacer were the single setup would be. Your going to need a long enough bolt to go through the lower mount plus both shocks  :twocents:
