Some fab shop out in Hemet (not AP). I guess they usually do sand rails and a lot of Rhino work. This was their first exo. On the top in the rear is a built-in storage rack. The other interesting feature is the tubing is not painted, it is covered in clear coat. Also the cowl bar is removable. I'll try to get a few betters pics outside next time. :slap:

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

It's not my Runner. Brent bought it from Terry at All Pro about a year ago. Brent finished the little stuff and made it pretty. He had it listed in January, but decided to keep it after a successful run at the Hammers.  :driving:

I agree on the clear coat. My thought was the real chance of scratching it (and not realizing it) and the unprotected metal would rust. I am about ready to exo my Runner and it will be painted. :yesnod:

Not sure what type of tubing was used.  :dunno: I am pricing tubing now for my exo. 1.75 DOM is running between $2.55 (out of stock) and $4 ish per foot. 1.75 HREW I found for $1.44 per foot.

It was at the All Pro run to the Hammers (before the exo). I don't have any pictures but it was in CRAWL and 4 Wheel Drive magazines this past March. It is supposed to run again later this month on a night run to the Hammers. I'll try to take some pictures. :yesnod:

The exo did get a bit of a workout this weekend at the Hammers. The driver's side, rear of the exo did well, but the rear axle snapped. :sad2:

Krawler's break parts pretty easily.

How does the "wrap" hold up? And is it complety smooth or is their some wrinkles here and their? Would you prehaps know much a wrap costs.

I don't know for sure but I hear they last for 3 or 4 years before they start to fade. :dunno: I haven't noticed any wrinkles in it, but someone did "key it" in a parking lot which left some nasty marks on it.  I believe Brent paid around 1K for it.

I can't believe he broke an axle. I ran Lower Big Johnson, the notch between Upper & Lower, Upper Big Johnson, and North Jack without breaking an axle. My rears are stock.  :headscratch:

Krawlers, lots of lbs and Brent driving is the difference. Stock rears are pretty strong. Dave ran a whole season of comp on a set so have some of the formula toys. I am not convinced aftermarket does much better than stock for the rears.

The before and after shots on the exo plus all of the other weight he added are clear. The section where he broke was in a V notch about 300 yards up on Upper Big Johnson. I don't think he hammered it. I think he picked a bad line and wedged the pasenger side rear in an ugly spot. :dunno:
