Round Headlights?

i have a 83' toyota pickup and was wondering what is required for switching to round headlights. anyone have any ideas i would greatly apprecitate it.

Shouldn't be any more work than changing the headlight buckets out. You might have to open up the holes to get them in there but it's nothing a dremel and ten minutes couldn't fix. :thumbs:

I think the grill is different too.

the buckets bolt in...... no dremel or anything... white trash put the rounds on his 90 something truck.... im going to put them on my 84 truck when $ permits

That is good info, I was not aware of that.

Glad you are stepping up to ROUND HEADLIGHTS. Real TRUE Hilux trucks have ROUND HEADLIGHTS!! That is what they were born with and that is what they were designed for!! :_order:

I put 83 square pods in a 79 and I had to drill some new holes but not all, some did bolt up.

I just picked up a grill and buckets to do my 83' also. Hopefully ill have it done this weekend.

I have a 1980 truck, and the front was smashed so I welded on a core support from an 82 truck. The headlights bolted back on. The only difference is one side just had holes, rather than a nut welded to the backside. So I had to use a bolt and nut to attatched everything on the passenger side, but no big deal. The grilles should interchange from year to year. I put an 82 grill on with my round lights just to see what it looked like at one point.
