How many different A/C compressor combos are there 22R/22RE


I'm so close to being finished installing the A/C in my truck and went to bolt in my compressor and :mad: it will not even mount to the bracket.

The compressor is a 10PA15C out of a 86 Toyota truck with a 22R, the bracket I bought off another seller who said it would work for this compressor. So much for that idea.

So what fits what when it comes to 22R and RE engines?  I notice there are three possible compressors used on 2nd gen trucks

that i know of. there are 2 diffrent compressors and 2 diffrent brackets for the first gen's.

Anyone know if I can rob the complete unit of a Celica with a 22RE and have it work on my 22R?
