Sweet, a Marlin board, where have I been?? Anyway I have a 84 sr5 x-tra cab w/ 529s,locked in rear,36"sx's, 2" body lift , & 7" superlift (don't laugh,it was free). And waiting to be installed are 44044's,chevy 63's (possibly in-boarded),revolvers,2" drop box,Rancho 9000's, Marlin MC-07. But Im still waiting on a top t-case, ifs box, & x-over.

sounds like a nice ride lets see some pics i use to have an 84 long bed loved that truck so where are you at in N Cal I live close to Sac

KYOTA

Welcome noob! you better get your adapter asap cause I read Geigers post on PBB about running out of mc07's and are givin' a hell of a deal on mc08's till they get more 7's

84runner

Welcome to the board. So your running 7 inches of super lift a.  Well I made that mistake my first time. What you do is wheel it hard one weekend with no shocks then after it softens up you use longer shackles to level it out and it will do pretty good

I still have a set of those springs, funny thing is even after I added 4 flat leafs to the pack with longer shackles it flexed way more than the rear ever thought of!!  I have no idea why it did but they worked at the time.  It basically sounds like you have built the same truck as my big one right down to the lift.  What engine is in yours??

Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Red Runner-  Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera so pics would be tough, but I will ask around and try to find someone with one that I can use.I live north of sac. in the foothills.

White Trash- Unfortunately I have  the 22R, This is the first 4-cyl.
motor I have ever had. I have only owned V8's, the first was a 383, than a 360, and I still have a 72 Power Wagon with a built 440 in it. So Im not really diggn the 4-banger ( with 220,000 on it), So I think There will be a motor swap of some sort in my future.

84runner- I am on going to the Rubicon ( only about 45 min. from me ) for memorial day, but only if I can get my spring swap and x-over done in time. Went through last year a couple times with the super-lift springs but they really suck. If I can't get the swap done I will probably ride with some friends. Where are you going? If your going to the con and  want to hook-up let me know.

84runner

Going to the con for sure with some friends. I am still running my super lift setup and after 4 or 5 runs on the con last year there not doing to bad. And I'm still running stock steering
