Started this build in November still working on it making progress as fast as I can... This build is on pirate under the same thread name, just thought I would bring it here also...

I have built a stroked 22re (160 CI) 7mm of stroke... It will go in later also have a complete SDS system to use with it...

Started with this...

It finally gave up the ghost right at 300k and ran really strong right up to the end!!!

Pulling the motor (Mikey helping me)

A little more removed...

Cutting off brackets (that will not be used)

Boing

Built the crawl box

Built the Dana300 32spliners front and rear...

Front Axle before tear down, Yar I have high steer for it!!

Finished stripping the frame, its in perfect shape!

Boing

I cut the hole out to get it the way I wanted

Forming the 16Ga.

Fixed the hole in the floor board (not my best welding but it will work

Inside (its all painted now)

Then rolled the frame back in and started fitting up the drivetrain (bellhousing to rear drive flange 53 11/16!!)

Boing

4 7/8" to the rear crossmember so that means its gone

Put the cab back on and started fitting up the shifters to see how its going to have to sit... Flat belly without BL!

Because it caused confusion on the pirate board this is what will happen with the rear t-case shifter it will be connected to the front right twin stick...

I wanted a T-case mount similar to FROR's for my dana 300 (no one makes one) so I started making some templates (12 to be exact.) Crude Ms paint render of what I want todo... I just dropped off the last template to a local laser cutter will be made of 3/8" plate (waiting to get it back right now)

Boing

Inside passenger frame rail Upper link mount, and lower link mount

Outside passenger frame rail frame sleeve welded in (holds bolt for upper control arm mount through the frame)

Inside Drivers frame rail lower link mount

Front axle housing with brackets tacked on...

r151f + crawl boxes + dana300 + ring and pinion = 641:1

4.31 * 2.28 * 4.7 * 2.62 * 5.29 = 640:1

Although I doubt I'll ever use it that low, also modded the dana300 shift rail so that it will do fwd Hi (or i can use the crawl box reduction/s for low)

If I move my rear axle back 3 1/4" I get the same length drive shafts (which i am going to do) 107 1/4" wheelbase

Nice! wow that thing is gonna be cool. Do you have a plan or a outline for the build up. I noticed you pulled the carb..... are you gonna run propane?

Actually I have built a stroker efi motor for it. Using the old motor just for now to fit stuff up. Its also got a standalone engine management system...

here is the pan-hard mount, and cut open the fenders to accommodate for the shock hoops,
