I'm getting ready to build a set of 1/2 doors for my 1stgen. I have seen a few people use the inside door latch on the top of there doors. how do you rig up that latch to open the doors? any info will help. thank you

Stinky

mine are a bit ghetto rigged, but i tacked the lock rod to the door skin to make sure it never locked...and the handle rod i just left stickin out of the top of the flat part of the door n ya just push it down...you could weld a nut onto the rod so it doesnt impale ya should ya fall out...

its just a matter of deciding where you want the latch to be, then bending and cutting the bar to the right length. Before you gut the doors, look closely at the assembly, its really not a hard process
