Birfield Eliminator Kit ?

is anyone running the :turtle: Birfield Eliminator Kit ? is this kit an overkill or does the price prevent purchase?
84 reg cab long bed
buick 3.8 /  chevy th350 tranny
mc / all pro lift
hydraulic assist
37/13 x 15 tsl boggers
15x10 rock crawlers

30 spline longs are stronger.

pirate 4x4 did asome tests on breaking stregths, the u joints are a bit stronger than a stock toyota birfield, but if you spending the money you might as well get 30 spline longs, there stronger than d60 axles, just my 2 :twocents:

sweet. thanks for the info. im bout to dig into my axles this month. im just in the process of getting parts lined out.

They aren't interchangeable with each other.

yea just wondered if you could run the two making it stronger...
i seen allpro offroad makes a hybrid axle with ford/dana 60 parts and also uses 30 chromoly ..pretty cool but the pricetag is steep

One uses u-joints and one has birfields, hence why the kit is called a birfield ELIMINATOR kit :thumbs:

i was looking at the mc page and i did not see any that says they are 30 spline. where are people getting them from?
