$1400 left, what do I spend it on??
« on: Feb 14, 2007, 08:56:35 PM »
I have a long travel suspension front and rear, and some 35" TSL's.  I have 1400 left and this is for a trail rig only

if its trail only, weld the fronts and rears, thats pretty cheap if not free, then get some longs and hub gears, and some tcase gears... that should jsut about kill the rest of your budget, but it would then be pretty bombproof

I think it's a go for weld the rear, lock the front get some longs and t case gears.  Will the 4:10's be able to handle the rest of the trail otherwise?

Longs are the best yota birfs and axles you can buy.  Since its a trail rig only if you get gears for the Case you could stay with 4.10's no problem, but if you want a little extra low range gearing get some 5.29s.  Get some longs and the Alloy USA 4340 Rear Axle Shafts cant beat that 10 year warranty.

Do it

4:10's will be fine if you're trail only and have upgraded tcase gears.
