hey guys i just got a new project its a 86 2wd extracab longbed.
plans are solidaxel swap in front with ifs hubs and fj rotors for 3 inch wider, with eather 3 inch ranchos or rears up front, havent decided yet, 22re, w56 with marlin duels, 5.29's, ft lockright and welded rear, 4 link rear with airshocks on ifs axel, bobbed bed, exo cage with sliders, and go with eather 35s or 38's on 15/12 36 bolt beadlocks with 2 inch backspace.
im looking at about a 120 too 123 inch wheelbase do you think its gonna be too long?
truck came with 22r and auto so im gonna have too swap in new pedals and a tilt colum. anyone ever done this before it looks like the pedal stuff is there for the clutch just need too drill the holes in firewall.
thanks any info will help

Are you buying Sky's rotor spacer kit or bolting the caliper to the inside of the knuckle?

Ya i saw ricks in this months crawl issue its sweet, i didn't think they came with extra cab long beds eather but this one is I'm going too post pics up as soon as i get our digital cam back from my wife( shes being stengy taking pics of our new nephew) instead of my project lol! but he's more important. but anyways.i wish myne was a turbo also but Ive got a turbo and the intake stuff too convert this one but if I'm gonna do all that i would rather put a 3.4 in it cause i have all that stuff too convert too also. as for front axel I'm just bolting the caliper too the inside of the knuckle. i haven't started putting the front axel back together yet still gotta put the locker in my front diff and set it up with the 5.29s. and nate I'm not trying too steal ur project i just found this truck for cheap, guy said he replaced the head gasket and was still getting water in oil so i pulled timing cover and it was wore threw just like i figured so I'm having head checked and milled and then on goes new timing set and cover and should be fixed cross my fingers, motor runs great, and I'm surprised it didn't have timing rattle because the exhaust side guard was totally gone.
ill try and post some pics up this weekend, my parts should be here tomarrow so i can start my solid axel swap.
