the Sami's rebuild.  What it had: sami axles, spring over, detriots front and rear, 5.29's, and a 4:1 or so t-case i believe.

What is going on it: toyota V-6 rear axles 5.29's, Dana 44 front axle 5.38's, YJ springs front and rear, rear springs inboarded to frame, full hydro steering, cage was built over christmas break.  here are the pics.

The suspension is done.  He has a front bumper made out of 2x6 that will be welded to the front crossmember/frame, you can see in the pics were it would go.  the rear bumper will be reinforced it can handle holding the shackles.  the Dana 44 is built with the 5.38's and a mini spool he got for free.  the rear axle still needs to be built.  he needs to mount the ram and get an orbital for the steering and also get the driveline made.  Wheelbase was stretched roughly 13 inches.

i didn't take these, but here are some updated pics.  i have no idea how big those tires are.  they are all different sizes though lol.  he needs to do something about the front shackles because they go back to far and hit the frame on compression.

Ramrod

looks like its getting there, that front bumper definitly needs to go though

I went over to Kent's work today and gave him a hand with the Sammy.
We finished mounting the steering valve. Its mounted using 2 of the mounting holes and then to a bracket my cousin made at the bottom with a hose clamp to keep it from moving.

Got the steering ram mounted.

Front flex shot.

The Pass. side shock hits the spring.

Here's a shot of the rear.

He still needs hoses for the hydo. steering, and a guy he works with is going to build him a custom fuel tank to mount below the rear of the tub. Then there is a bunch of little stuff that needs to be done.

forgot about this thread.  it has changed a little.  he just picked up dual toyota cases with a 4.7 last week.  he will be picking up another sami motor with propane and an addapter to a toyota tranny in a couple weeks.  it should be pretty set after that.
