I can get Toy fronts for about $150.
650 is a rip off unless it's got Longs in it already.

try craigslist and look in the for sale section here. usually there are people parting out toy trucks in your area, they most post a higher price if they know what they have, but cash talks and you can usually use that to talk them down

insane04 is in TN and has all sorts of stuff, might have one....

try contacting the member here named davez, he has a shop and junkyard basically, in the fresno area i believe, im sure hes got one

Your problem is that you live in LA

The local yards are a rip off.

Buy one from someone on this board. Keep looking till you find the right price or buy a cheap truck and part it out.

you have got to stay away from junk yards (except pick and pull) unless you like to bend over frequently. Craigslist is getting as bad as ebay now, everyone thinks there :pokinit: is golden :shake:. Looking on wheeling forum classifieds is your best bet, fellow wheelers helping each other out not F you over  ;)

I know there is a place selling them on ebay up in maine, to get it to florida it was gonna cost me like 250 for a complete axle shipped to me, I think they let the axles go for about 100 or 125 each,

there problem in maine being, they sent a ton of those trucks up there(they needed the four wheel drive) but becuase of the salt in the air, the drivetrain outlasted the bodys, so then the needed even more new trucks......some of the junkyards piles are full of these axles, I know this one person has sold over 50 of them now
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

Sounds to pricy. The last one I bought used was set up wrong and used to hum caused the gears werent set up right. I would find someone reputable to buy off of, if the housing is bent you wont know it till you use it and blow berfs, to many scenerios to buying a used rear.

Be careful and good luck

wow, i thought $825 was WAY too much after reading yall's replies.....like, way way way -spank me then brand my ass b4 you fork me- too much!! But this buffoon in n.hollywierd wanted nine hundred united states dollars. (had to spell it out so u wouldn't think canadian) So i asked him, "is it complete....like with the rest of the truck?" he hung up on me. so, still lookin, wishn i had a bullet train loaded, with my axle, ifs-X- kit+rear all my goodies, 4-in-1 LincolnElectric, and those miller chicks i saw at the bar the other night all shipped to my door. shoots, i'd even go terminal collect @ LAX for them miller ladies -oh so fine!
but yea, i gotta trust my parts-person, be he/she a JY or salesperson not to sell me bent junk. are there bullet trains in maine? my MGD ladies?

(MGD = must get drunk) could have been Miller Natural Genuine Draft....must NOT get drunk....but we know whats really goin down.....  :beerchug:

Search continues. Called around this week and much of last week. Fools up and down the golden state think yota straight fronts are gold.  :screwy: lowest price i was quoted yet was $450 for a complete, $300 for housing only  :bull crap: . then i found another guy who says he sells the axles for $450-$500 all day long. he said he would buy axles and 3rds from me if i could get some. i dunno.  i need an axle but don't wanna get reamed as i am on a budget like everyone else. any more suggestions??
thanks
