I figured I would let you guys know about this incase some of you actually plan in advance. I am pretty sure I am coming down for this. It will be a good time for sure. The event is getting bigger and bigger every year and is somewhat of a big deal from what I have heard. Last time I was at Hannibal there were far too many wussy Jeeps (some were pretty cool) and it made me uncomfortable  Bring your Toyotas and come play :beerchug:

Maybe this would be a good weekend to try to get a bunch of our new Midwest group together?  I'll have to check with Debbie to see how many rigs they might be expecting.  I don't want a repeat of New Year's Day.  That was just crazy.

500 rigs was too much for ya haha? I would really like to see some board members get out to this event also so I can meet more people and make a bigger fool of myself.

I personally don't see anymore than 10 people actually getting there shiat together and making it. I remember all the people that were gonna come with New Years to Flat Nasty and only 4 rigs showed up.

I sure hope so. I am driving 8 hours and will have a 300 dollar fuel bill. I don't see why the people that actually live in Illinois, Missouri or SE Iowa wouldn't go  :shake: It isn't like the place is  :gay:

Yeah, it's only a 2 hour drive from St. Louis.  Anyone within a 4 hour drive or so should be able to make it pretty easily.  I think the park is pretty good now and it should only get better.

There is a RRock rock crawling event at Hannibal Rocks that weekend also. I believe you can sign up to compete in the lower classes if you think you are man enough. I am not man enough but I may try it anyway.

I kinda like it here! besides Toyota parts are cheap locally. :gap:  I would like to try my hand at some amateur competition. I don't think I will be able to make it though, too many conflicting schedule type stuff.

There are a couple of guys on our "list" that compete in WEROCK and RROCK competitions...Travis Snider and Kyle McDaniel.  I'm sure that they would LOVE having a big cheering section/pit crew around at these events.  It would be awesome to try to get as many Toyota folks out to these events as possible each time they're "local"...as in places like Hannibal.  I'm definitely going to look into getting dates for these events communicated to everyone in an attempt to get out and support these guys.  Plus, it'll be a good time to be at the park wheeling.  The rockcrawling events are just more entertainment for the folks that come with you.

I will be with a large group, just not any members from here apparantly. Too bad. Oldskool lives really close. I expected him to come at least.

Oh well, some would rather just web wheel instead (DTB)

Actually I didn't break anything. My square drivelines keep vibrating my crawl box loose to the point where my cases are only held together by the t-case mounts on my crossmember. I notice gear oil leaking then I tighten them up. My digital camera got trampled during a drunken stampede much to my dismay. I got chewed out at 2am by some richard head who thought the owner of the park was gonna kick everybody out of the camp ground and all the rock crawling competitors would have their events canceled because of our campfire. My rig keeps overheating even after we replaced the water pump in camp on friday. The overheating baffles me since every part of the cooling system is now new or has been replaced. I am beginning to think a head gasket or head may be cracked even though it runs fine and does not use antifreeze.

We left Mankato at 7pm on Thursday night and drove the 7 hours down. We showed up around 2 am and started drinking beer. We stopped drinking at 5am friday night :shocking: We drank for a good 2 days straight which was followed by 3.5 hours of sleep and one massive hangover that lasted until 3pm on Saturday. Then about 6pm we proceeded to start drinking again and burn everything we could find. You boys missed out on a good time. The first thing my poor hungover self did on Saturday was go get my FJ Cruiser backpack and then model it for the FJ boys  :gap:

It just happened to be a yellow fj that you were on while you posed all gay like that.  :stopit:
Have you considered getting some new lock washers and mabye some locktight for those     t-case bolts. That sucks about the camera, did you take the video camera with you? If so you should bring it with to flatnasty, so we can all see.

I just imagined that the FJ Cruiser was you, then I had no problem laying all over it.

I had the video camera and got some good footage. Hopefully by Flatnasty I will have a DVD compilation of all the footage from the last couple years. That is, If you boys even get your act together and make it to Flat Nasty.
