fuel cell
« on: Feb 07, 2007, 08:26:40 PM »
Does anyone know if you can run a stock fuel gauge with a fuel cell? if so tell me how. I also would like to know if i need o run all new fuel line for my fuel injection? Right now i have the stock fuel lines from the tank for my previous carburetor. I also need to know what fuel pump would be the best to use because i believe Toyota fuel injection requires 15psi of fuel pressure. thanks for all the help

not sure you can fit the stock gauge what does your cell look like? my buddy made his pump fit in a fuel cell but not the gauge?? not sure how that would work?  :dunno: pretty sure the tanks/ lines are not interchangable.. how big is your cell? got any pics?

Wouldn't it be easier to swap in a tank & lines from an efi?

No, because I want to balance out my truck. So I am puting dual batteries in my tool box in the middle of my truck and I want to move the fuel tank in the middle of my truck and lower to give me a lower center of gravity

don't know if they would work with other tanks    but your brand tank should have kits/options

use a meter and hook it 2 the  fuel sender     move it from empty/full and    write down the ohms
if U have a factory sender and a fullcell sender    and then u will know if it will work
