LTB: My 88 Sammy...
« on: Jan 30, 2007, 10:55:13 PM »
Although uncommon, Suzuki Samurai's still exist within a toyota forum...  So here is my 88 sammy.

Suspension:  Most was free...  Calmini 3" springs and 2" shackles...  Racho 9000's all the way around...  FREE!
Roll cage was swapped for my stock one.
Hella lights were free from Rotten, cuz the bases are broke and zip-tied (previous owner)
The Rear LED's were free cuz my work has them and we don't put them in trucks anymore because of the theft...
4:1 t-case was only $200 because the gear Brent welded broke at the weld, so we had a guy weld them back up...
Welded Rear diff...  Free?!

Body shots:  $1400 for the stock sammy...  I got $800 worth of stuff free, and I bought $200 worth of stuff...  Subtotal:$1600

My buddy gave me his Cold air off his Acura, because it was all sctratched up...  So he gave it to me and I cut it up and added a $20 APC filter...
The Flowmaster 40 with the 2" pipe was $104.

Under the hood: Subtotal:$124

I HATE Xplod, but $94 for 4 speakers and a Head unit...  I couldn't say no!  Now I can get them wet and not worry about them...

Audio: Subtotal: $94

The Biggest chunk of change were these BRAND NEW 31/11.5/15 SS LTBS...  They measure 30.5"...
And FINALLY: Tires.  Subtotal: $655...1818

Grand total for the sammy: $2,473...
If you got a rig under $2500 that can keep up...  I'd toss the keys...
Stock 82 LWB on 33's welded in the rear.  Amazes me!  Been through 4 motors in 2 months though...
