ok so i have been holding off for quiet some time before i post this... but im pretty sure that JARED from this board is a dead beat!! well i bought a tranny from him 2 months ago or so... first time i talked to him he said it was out of a 90 yota... then wen i went to get it it was all of a sudden outa i think an 87 well that should have been the first red flag to me not to get it... but i did anyways cuz i was in need of one badly.... well about 50 feet down my block i could tell the thing was toast i was pissed!! so i pm'd him and said it was $hit and i wanted my money back "bought for 250, agreed upon 125 back and a front cv d shaft''.... so my truck sat for a month due to my schedual and finally went to sac to get my money and d shaft.... got the 125 and ''A'' d shaft... it wasnt a cv though like agreed apon... so he said he would mail it to me.... so i was fine with that and trusted him.... well 3-4 weeks later guess what? no d shaft... every time i have called him hes gonna send it or hes on his way to the post office.... well im 1 day away and no d shaft..... my calls,messages... pm's are being ignored.... was in desprate need of a shaft so i went to ''yodaman'' in santa rosa.... made a deal w him... he would lend me one till i got mine in the mail.. and if not he sells them for 175 ''i had the tg 12inch slip welded on so i cant return it'' so i just said whatever cuz i actually thought i would get my shaft in the mail... so now im down that 175 for the shaft and the 125 remainding from the tranny.... hmmm so im now down 300 bones... he goes by 82yotacrawler on pirate and Jared from this site........ well thats all i gotta blab about.... so if ya know this guy tell him whats up and i want my d shaft.... hmmmmm i wonder if ill see him up at the con this summer

I think (not positive, that he sold his truck and got something else.    As for the two screen names, I'm betting he signed on as Jaredthegreaser, and forgot the password, or didn't know how to change his screenname and didn't like it, or something like that.  Notice he never used the Jaredthegreaser SN again after that first day?  That was also way back in '03, before most of us came on, and the site was A LOT smaller.  No reason to ban him for that.

I've talked with Jared a little over the past few years, and he's always seemed like a decent enough guy.  I know he has had his share of struggles, and he may be having some right now.  He used to frequent the board, but I know he isn't on nearly as much anymore.  I't sucks that it looks like he's screwing you over Makahon, and I really hope he steps up and makes it right.

ok so i just got a pm on pirate about it saying he sent it on tuesday?? this tuesday?? he lost the tracking # ..shoulda been here but i havent seen it yet... jimbo he hasnt been on the site for a week but he was just on pirate and i have been calling him everyday... blackdog who hasnt had there share of struggles... ya it sounds like hes havin money trouble with havin a shop and movin out but... jared did seem like a stand up guy when i met him thats why im surprised this is goin on for a month... well if he actually sent it out, sorry jared.. i hope u understand my frustration and why i made this post.... well see tomorrow if it gets here but im not really counting on it

settle down there richard Tracy, I'd agree that Jason's right about losing his password and created that acct to straighten it out. Also, the whole time Jared's been on here for as long as I've known him here and pirate hes always been a good guy. Sold a lot of parts without problems so I'd trust him when he says he's shipped your stuff. Give him a little more leeway before you lop his head off.

a little more time? to clarify... he for the last THREE weeks have been saying hes gonna ship it today! jared seemed like a good guy, its just the last 3-4 weeks he has been saying hes gonna send it that day or the next day i talk to him... then for the last week he hasnt been answering my calls... maybe his phone was lost... so i left messages ''u dont need ur cell phone to answer your messages... its the whole not answering me for the last week that makes me think im being screwd... i may be wrong.. i hope im wrong... but really how much more time do you want me to give him.... and just cuz u have tons of posts and sold a buncha stuff doesnt mean anything.... my bro was screwd outa 400 bux from a known member of a board and the seller sold a buncha stuff with no probs.. except my bro

and life come with hard times, many a time i have gone out of town for a weekend with no one being able to get ahold of me.... i wouldn't come back for 4 days..... and during the week, i was in school, my work doesn't allow phones on the premises either.... i am a really hard person to get ahold of.... sometimes things do pop up unexpected and that person can have every intention of doing it that day, and for some reason or another, it just gets pushed back

dude jimbo man u dont get it... it doesnt bother or worry me that something takes 3 week to get here... it bothers me that for the last 3 weeks he has been saying hes gonna send it everytime i talk to him. "3 weeks worth of talking to him and him saying hes gonna send it'' and i dont recall ever saying it was his fault i borrowed the shaft and modified it?? were did you get that from? he knew the situation about the shaft being borrowd and i needed his/my shaft to replace it by the end of last week for the borrowd one and said he would send it out asap so everything would be good... pat that sux about ur $hit is the guy from around here
