Dunlop Mud Rover??

Has anyone ever run the 35X12.50R15 Dunlop Mud Rover?  Opinions?  I intend to mostly offroad driving and need a cheep tire for now till I get $$$.

i have, two sets, and toybuilt has. they are a great tire. do well on road, relitively quiet when compared to an equivelantly sized interco tire-decent sidewall, ok in mud, great in rocks/dirt, decent in sand with good cleaning characteristics. and the beauty is that they are a fraction of the cost of a swamper.

i wish they had a larger size-compared to a bfg mud they are superior in every aspect imo, and toybuilts if i remember correctly. we lived an hour from the rubicon so thats where they got used-no complaints, if they made a 38 id run em

How well do they do on tread wear?  I want a streetable tire for my '82 that I can get a min of 30-35k on.(Well rotated of course)

i did about 20 k on em and sold em with about 50% tread, both thoybuilt and i work/worked at les scwabb tires and i know that i personally have seen them go to 40k on a dodge dakota (light weight) and those where frequently rotated (every3k)- i give the thumbs up

Sweet!! Thought about getting the BFG MT but they are $$ compared to the Dunlops.  My bro runs the 33X10.50R15s and they have 2,000 and some evident street wear.  He is now running a set of street tires for the daily use.  I don't want to have to run a second set of tires just yet(storage issue).   I have a Volvo as a DD

sounds good, as a former tire shop manager...and in my opinion, stay away from bfg mts, i dont wanna start any wars with those who like em, but i had a set on my 85, i think drag slicks might have provided better traction in most cases-i hated em, i paid 1300 dollars for em and GAVE them away 3 months later i hated em so much.


any way , good luck, keep us all posted on the tires! all of us like cheap things taht work great

i had them on my toyota, they rode like crap, i ran them at 20 psi on the street. they did last a long time though. mine were a pain in the butt to balance...

i had 31s on my truck....

Goodyear MTRs look good bu they are so much $$  Will let you all know what I get
