laramie weather

Im moving to Laramie Wyoming in March to go to school at Wyotech I was wondering what the weather was like. I am used to the coldest temp in northwest Arkansas being around 0 with little snowfall. I dont want to get there and be under prepared for the weather. Any input will help thanks.  Anthony

Fordh8r & I both got scholarships  to go there to back in "89" {showing my age}  You are going to the months we were there years ago  In March-April it was still rain & snow with thunder & lighting. It warmed up but it was still cooler than what we were used to {Bay Area, Union City, CA} mostly was in the 60's. I do remember that in August the temp got up to the low 80's for about a week. Electrical storm's through the summer. Septmember the weather was still nice. You are going at the right time. The weather should be the same as your used to. If your were going in the winter expect a lot of snow. What course are you taking? Good Luck. I hope you have as much fun as Fordh8r & I did. Gives us updates.

Well the specialty classes im taking are the street rod fab and chasis fab and high performance engines. The core class is auto refinishing. I cant wait to go.

Good luck at Wyo Tech! Definitely, tallchevy and I had an awesome time there. O.K. actually more fun in Colorado than we did in Wyoming. Either way we had a time to remember while we were there.   Hey, tall chevy still got pics of us doing that stereo install in the snow?

Still got'em. It was snowing & we were wiring up the stereo system in my 83 Toyota 4x4.

Same here going to school for 8.5 hrs a day 5 days a week sounds like it would wear you down.

Yeah, the locals don't like the tech'ers. Thats what they called us. I remember Fordh8r & I we in my Toyota heading for town & some locals drove by & threw a bottle at us   just because.
