the coil is for added support ( think a bra) for when you are loaded up a bit  or running soft springs or both.  Leaf under.. well if you have to ask why you dont know a whole lot about suspension lol.. sprung under just has way more control, less axle wrap, better at climbing i could go on. and such big springs.. well when you actually build a real leaf pack they have more than the 4-5 leafs that the majority of people run.. think more in the 7-8 leaf range, aswell as being sprung under he has to run a little bit more of a taller spring so to speak to get the lift.

sounds good on the coil....  i understand the benefits of spring under... im assuming that those are some nice custom springs... cause that many leafs and that much arch would ride like crap with most off the shelf, so to say, spring packs...

thinner leafs and more of them.... gives you a more progressive spring rate, ride quality and longevity! :beerchug:

But why do chevys kick so much butt? obviously a really long spring is goign to have more flex, no the best ride though, unless you like boats

They dont really kick that much butt. They flex decently because they are retardedly long. Everything else about them brings the suck. Especially how long they are

There are only TWO reasons that I can think of to have stacks:

1:  Your 'rig' is an 18 wheeler  (duh)
2:  To bring the exhaust up to clear very deep water crossings (and this is stretching it)

Although, reason 2 is rarely applicable due to the fact that most do not waterproof the engine.
wow your an idiot i will agree that those stack are pretty bad however stacks were used for keeping the exhaust high enough so that it didnt go straight into the stock trailer they were hauling  thats why you see real cowboys with really tall stacks the other are just for show some look good i think you can have your opinion others i think we all agree look like :pokinit:

I'm not quite sure how this makes me an idiot.  I have never hauled a livestock trailer and I have never seen anyone around here hauling livestock trailers with stacks.  I am, however, man enough to realize that you make a good point and I can see where someone would think that stacks would be good for stock trailers.  So, make that reason #3 on my list of reasons why I think someone would want to run stacks.

Also, before you question someone's intelligence, how about learning to use a little punctuation and capitalization.  I had to read your post 3 times before I figured out what you were saying.

Disagree. Are you a real cowboy or have had experience with hauling livestock?

I have, and having exhaust exit in the stock location is just fine. Even if you crank up whatever makes the durty black smoke, you can still exit in stock location and be fine. Never ever heard of someone having trouble with this.

And there's no reason to insult anyone's intelligence. Simply a little discussion amongst  Toyota-holics :)
