"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

Where were you at?  Myself and meanokie were on Old Yosemite Hwy/trail sunday.  Not much snow to be found...even up to 5000+ ft.

we started at packard canyon road off of highway 120 then came out at 5 corners and went back down to hardin flat and then to 120...  not a whole lot of snow, except on the north facing areas where there was maybe 6 inches..

Looks as if you and your buddies had a good time. I didn't even know that there were trails up in that area.

miles and miles of them... mostly old logging roads or forest service roads.. but this time of year they are trails... and most arent maintained even in the summer time so they stay pretty rough..
