Had to go back to work after having a month off, so nothing new this week. Hopefully I can get some work done this weekend if the weather is good.

Got the front knuckles on today. Im taking the thirds in tomorrow to have the 5.29's put in.

Put the 35's on to see what it would look like.

Yeah, so far I moved the front 3" forward and the back is in stock location, but I havent seen it with weight on the back yet so hopefully it should be ok, but if not its pretty easy to change it.

OK I need some help guys. I can only afford one locker so what should I get (not arb) and what axle should I put it on. Remember the rig is going to be a DD so I need something practical and I dont want to weld anything.

x2 on the aussie locker, specially since your gonna crack open those 3rds itd be easy as pie to throw in an aussie while the carier is out to regear it. You can buy right from the man on mud if your so inclined. just check out the vendor marketplace.
(oh and throw it in back hands down)
cool build, you cant find those oldies out here

I got all of my brake parts. V6 ifs calipers, fj60 rotors and a fj 80 1"bore master cylinder. Also got a High Angle driveline

Finally got my front axle put back together, know I just need to finish the steering and the shocks.

Thats it for the day, I had to clean my garage up so I could pull the truck in there. Its just too damn cold outside.

I tried to install the front driveline i got from MC but it ended up being to long. The measurement from flange to flange is about 31-1/4" and the driveline is 33" fully compressed. Luckily I still had the driveline from my old truck, hopefully it will be long enough.

I am shipping the Driveline back to MC and picking up a rear bumper. Now all I need is a front bumper and my rig is Complete. Except of course for a front locker. but that will have to wait for some more funds. Anybody want to donate to my "I need a front locker charity".
